Culture Colony - Y Wladfa Newydd receives a grant to get the ball rolling

Powys County Council through the Powys Arts Forum is awarding grants to artists and creative business' through it's 'Cyfle I Greu - Chance To Create' scheme. Culture Colony - Y Wladfa Newydd has been fortunate enough to receive a £10,000 grant to help in the initial stages of launching the web site. Although the philosophy of Culture Colony - Y Wladfa Newydd demands it rely on subscriptions rather than public money for its funding needs, to be answerable to it's membership rather than a funding body, this one off grant is ideal to help launch the project without compromising the independance of Culture Colony - Y Wladfa Newydd.
