Susie Wild is a writer, journalist, poet and editor based in Cardiff. Her words have appeared all over the shop, including Bugged…Writings from Overhearings (CompletelyNovel.com, 2010), Nu: fiction & stuff(Parthian Books, 2009), Mslexia, The Stage, The Guardian, New Welsh Review, Planet, The Big Issue, the BBC, and Clash Magazine. She regularly performs her poetry in dives and dance halls. The Art of Contraception is her first book. It was long-listed for the Edge Hill Short Story Prize 2011 and won ‘Fiction Book of the Year’ in the Welsh Icons Awards 2010. The novella  ’Arrivals’ is also available globally as a Kindle ebook (Parthian Books, May 2011). Susie has three poems in the forthcoming Parthian anthology Nu2: Memorable Firsts (Parthian Books,July 2011).
