100% Beefcock and the Titsburster are to headline at the launch party of CCQ Issue 8 and to celebrate the release of Huw Alden Davies' new publication, Prince

Wall of noise art rockers 100% Beefcock and the Titsburster will be playing at The Abacus Rooms in the heart of Cardiff on Saturday 28 November. The band are fresh back from LA where they have been recording with iconic producer Steve Albini. Earlier this year CCQ had the pleasure of seeing them open for Sarah Lucas' British Pavilion show at the 2015 Venice Biennale.

The event is hosted by yours truly, the CCQ Team, to celebrate the launch of Huw Alden Davies' photographic project: Prince. Huw's project has been featured as part of Diffusion Festival and the resulting publication will be accompanied by a show of new work at Elysium Gallery in Swansea in December.

CCQ's event at The Abacus will also feature two local support bands: WolfPunch, of an old-school punk persuasion and Jemma Roper, who's sweet but sharp voice is only matched in beauty by her blouses. We are also joined by drunkenmissorderly / zia torta, who will be our DJ for the night. Huw's work will be projected on the upstairs walls and his publication will be avaiable for your delectation, making this event a truly multi-sensory occasion. Sort of like a fun, interactive version of the Science Museum, but with less science.

Tickets for the event will be limited and are now available from Eventbrite, here. All proceeds will go towards the funding of the event; we are hosting the evening as a not-for-profit, purely-for-fun event. In true Abacus-style, the event will be B.Y.O.B.

100% Beefcock and the Titsburster will perform at The Abacus Rooms on Saturday 28 November. Doors at 7.30pm. Tickets cost5 in advance through Eventbrite and6 on the door.
