26/07/2009 The Shape Of Things To Come - The Black Cloud is raised in Bristol
Culture Colony - Y Wladfa Newydd Pioneers Heather and Ivan Morrison have built a conference space in a day! 'The Black Cloud', a shelter made out of timber from the Morisons woodland near Dolgellau, is situated in Victoria Park, Bristol, and is now available for use by anyone who would like to hold an event there during its existence over the next 6 months. The barn-raising event was filmed by Pixel Foundry Artists Archive and will be shown here soon on this web site.

14/07/2009 Bendigeidfran Returns to Castell Harlech
Theatr Harlech approached CADW in 2007 proposing a large scale community project in Castell Harlech. CADW's encouragement has resulted in a diverse group of exceptional artists from accross North Wales creating the framework for a new radical telling of Wales' greatest saga 'Y Mabinogion'. The event will be filmed by Pixel Foundry Artists Archive and shown here soon on Culture Colony - Y Wladfa Newydd.

12/07/2009 Tamara Krikorian
Tamara Krikorian began making video in 1973 in Scotland where her campaigning helped establish the artform through a series of influential exhibitions. Tamara was an influential artist during the 70's and one of the first female artists in the UK to work with video. A founder of the artist led distribution agency London Video Arts in 1976, she was also an influential teacher at Maidstone and Newcastle. She lived in Penarth and until recently was the director of Cywaith Cymru - Artworks Wales.
