Amy Wadge tries out a new service at Acapela
30th October 2009
A new series of concerts started last night at Acapela Studio in Pentyrch, with Amy Wadge kicking off this season of events. Amy used this opportunity to try out a new DVD production service that Acapela are now able to offer in conjunction with SMS - Streaming Media Services - who have recently aquired some very nice kit!
SMS have recently enhanced their business with four brand new High Definition Camera's and a mobile scanner that can stream events live to the web. With the help of some pretty neat technology they can also offer this live streaming service at very reasonable rates, bringing high quality productions of events into a very accessible price range. This is something we at Culture Colony - Y Wladfa Newydd are very interested in for our future event plans, but tonight the satellite dish on top of the van remained down as streaming content wasn't required for Amy's event.

The van parked outside the Studio taking the feeds from all of the cameras and vision mixing the event live.
