The MA programme allows reflective studio practice to develop over three years of part-time study, enabling students to balance study with work or other commitments. Entry is by an honours degree of an approved University or a non-graduate qualification which is of satisfactory standard for the purpose of postgraduate admission.
The ethos of the programme is to enable you to acquire a confident individual expertise and the advanced skills to develop your creative potential, through developing your knowledge and understanding of the contexts of critical and professional sustainable practice. Your research will be supported by supervisory guidance, tutorials, mentoring, seminars, visiting lectures, case studies and peer group learning.
Practical work and individual tutorials will be based in your own studio space. Group seminars and lectures are based in the Hiraethog studio, Normal Site, Bangor.
