Katherine Chandler's new play follows 15-year-old Steph and her teacher Simon. Both live in Cardiff but their parallel lives couldn't be more different. When an accusation is made and their worlds collide, things aren't as simple as they might seem.

The play, performed by Gareth Pierce, Rachel Redford, Lisa Diveney & Jan Anderson (Casualty and Curb Your Enthusiasm) and directed by Catherine Paskell forDirty Protest Theatre, won the inaugural Wales Drama Award in 2012. Paskell comments,With her unique, authentic voice, Cardiff writer Katherine Chandler has written a play that is urgent, gripping and darkly funny. The themes of power, class and truth make Parallel Lines truly relevant to contemporary Cardiff audiences.
