Outcasting: Fourth Wall (O:4W) festival is a biennial explosion of moving image throughout the City of Cardiff and now stretching further afield for this second outing. Showcasing international artists alongside those working in Wales with new commissions, events and screenings across the breadth of current practice (some in a lorry-cum-cinema), with lots of opportunities for socialising and meeting artists as part of the wider Cardiff Contemporary programme. Screenings include works by: Jordan Baseman; Esther Johnson; Jonas Mekas;Stuart Croft; Alan Warburton; Josephine Sowden; Gemma Copp; Anton Hecht; Edwin Rostron; Alison Crocetta and many more - from Austria to Vietnam, from animation to installation and all points in between.

New commissions from: David Blandy; Alison Crocetta; Alan Warburton; Richard Bowers; Heloise Godfrey; Laura Reeves; Tom Goddard & Barnaby Dicker will be shown at Panopticon, with a chance to see the 2012 commission from Stefhan Caddick, The Pickle Line in the same venue -a converted restaurant right next to Cardiff Central and the bus station (6-7 St Wood Street CF10 1ER), while the ATRriuM will host a screening of Sue Williams' 2012 commission WATCH ME. Panopticon will also host screenings with many more at Porters Bar, The ATRiuM (University of South Wales), Spit & Sawdust, Bay Art and moving around the city. There'll be performances, talks and events throughout the festival.

Screening programmes will change weekly as will the programme of new commissions and visitors can also pick up the latest information about related events around the city from Panopticon (open Thursday, Friday & Saturday 12 - 6pm, 03.10 - 01.11.2014).
