This October, we're very pleased to be partnering with The Manchester Contemporary, the only fair of critically engaged art of its kind outside London. The Manchester Contemporary is an unrivalled incubator of artistic talent. Using bold curatorial judgement, it offers works for sale from the most exciting, critically engaged, contemporary artists and galleries, many of whom then embark on the international art fair network.

We are proud to be part of such a premium event as The Manchester Contemporary, and to be among artists and organisations that drive exciting new directions outside the art market of London. Galleries and projects such Vitrine, Vane, IMT, Syson, PAPER, Two Queens and International 3 are already engaging at international levels adding significant weight and direction to the fair. Newer projects such as LLE, Goldtapped and Love Unlimited are finding the fair particularly useful for raising profile and accumen, enabling them both to work with and showcase artists at a very high level, and also experiment in supportive company.

Dates for the fair are

The Manchester Contemporary: 27 - 29 October at Manchester Central

Preview night: Friday 27 October 17:00 – 21:00

Public day: Saturday 28 October 10:00 – 18:00

Public day: Sunday 29 October 10:00 – 17:00

CCQ will be at the fair with our new issue which is due out early October. It features a little interaction with LLE gallery, a Cardiff-based curatorial project, who will also be present.
