EDGE
[the point just before something very different and
noticeable happens]:
An exhibition exploring the evolving relationship between art and
modern technology in the contemporary world.
Digital technologies mediate almost every aspect of our lived
lives. Here Artists; Sonja Benskin Mesher, Jess Bugler, Ruth
Cousins, Matthew Day and Sarah Holyfield embrace this digital
context within their work to question the nature of our modern
world and our human experience within it. Using technology
available in Pontio Innovation’s “Fab Lab” from laser cutters, to
scanners and 3D printers, their individual responses reflect the
changing vision of how we create imagery through technological and
perceptual advancement.
An exhibition supported by Helfa Gelf.
