The Clyde & Co Art Awards fosters emerging talent in the visual arts by introducing final year undergraduate students to the corporate sector and showcasing their work. Launched in Clyde & Co’s London office, the programme facilitates the transition from art school to commercial art world, supporting graduates in their professional development and presenting their work to new audiences including potential collectors.
As part of the initiative, 40 selected artists are paid for a year-long loan of their work for display in Clyde & Co offices, receive professional mentoring, free legal advice and attend workshops in creative entrepreneurship. At the end of the year, the £5000 Clyde & Co Art Prize is presented to one of the artists in addition to a £2000 Staff Vote Prize. All works are subsequently made available through an online auction, with all proceeds going back to the artist. The innovative programme has already been rolled out to Clyde & Co offices across the Globe including Dubai, Perth, San Francisco & Newport Beach and Sydney.
