In this exhibition, the result of Cardigan’s 900th anniversary year, our town’s now famous giant knitted cardigan will be on display at Mwldan, surrounded by a selection of photographic images which came to light when townsfolk were asked to bring their old photographs of the town to scanning and archiving events. The result was a new collection of Cardigan’s photographic heritage, here presented alongside that same heritage depicted in wool. Lisa Hellier, the drivng force behind the giant cardigan, has hand picked the photographic images displayed in this show to complement the cardigan’s images.
