A unique tour of bird hides in aid of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.

Wales based singer-songwriter Kate Doubleday is joined with multi -talented instrumentalist Trevor Lines (bass/ukelele) and Dan Wilkins (guitar/kora) to ramble across lochs, marshes, valleys and estuaries on their UK national tour of RSPB reserves.

Tiny audiences of between 15 and 50 can experience a truly unique performance inside RSPB bird hides in these special nature reserves. Blending their own acoustic music with the sounds of nature surrounding them, the trio will perform Kate’s new work ‘Freefalling’ to these intimate groups of people.

The tour is a unique collaboration with the RSPB and all proceeds from ticket sales will be going directly to the charity.

Kate’s original songs draw inspiration from nature and in particular from the beautiful mid-Wales Dyfi Valley.  She will now perform her music completely surrounded by nature in order to evoke a sense of place and to take the audience on a journey into the wild where the music was conceived.

"Her music is strongly spiritual, beautiful and inspirational, confident yet vulnerable, all the while intelligently conceived and executed.
